Tarways Asphalte Ltd take delivery of a new Scania

Tarways Asphalte & Co Ltd from Liverpool have just taken delivery of their first ever Scania a new R cab 440bhp 6x2 twinsteer Highline tractor unit. The chassis has a 440 EGR engine that requires no add-blue and a 3 pedal opticruise gearbox. The key factors in them choosing Scania was reliability, dealer back up and location, fuel economy, driver comfort and vehicle whole life cost. They decided to take out a 5 year repair and maintenance contract, where the chassis will be maintained at our depot in Widnes which is open 24 hours from Monday to Saturday.

Tarways have been trading since 1973 and are one of England's leading Tarmac/Asphalt contractors, regularly working on major schemes for various main contractors including retail parks, airports, schools, hospitals, supermarkets, industrial units and housing sites on both the roads/footpaths and drives. They also carry out extensive Local Authority work on many local council highways.
