B J Clarke of Wrexham take delivery of their first used Scania R-series tractor units

B J Clarke from Wrexham have just taken delivery of two R-series Scania in the form of R480 6x2/4 twinsteer highline tractor units purchased from our Deeside depot.

Emma Jacobs, Used truck sales executive based at Deeside said " B J Clarke have a long standing relationship with Deeside and have owned several Scanias over the years. This used R-series is their first of this model type, they have added a new high lightbar and a fresh paint job in their colours which make the trucks as good as new".

Together with a great deal from Emma and Scania Finance we really couldn't have found a better alternative for our business." B J Clarkes owner Brian Clarke is really happy with this package and will be looking for further R-series models to replace his fleet in future.

B J Clarke Haulage was established in 1969, when Brian bought his first vehicle to carry animal feed, in 1971 Brian married Nancy who has helped Brian from the start to develop and grow the company to what it is now, a 12 strong fleet of Scania tractors with a variety of trailers, that consists of curtainsiders, flat beds and tippers.

The newest tractor units are R480 Highlines 6x2/4, with opticruise gearbox and a retarder, Brian has added Edbro tipping gear which was fitted by Deeside Truck Services, Alcoa Durabright alloy wheels and a Kelsa high bar with six spotlights which was fitted by Kevin Larkin.
