Mirror legislation
All commercial vehicles over 3.5 tonnes registered in the European Union between 1st January 2000 and 26th January 2007 are to be equipped with compliant Class IV close-proximity and Class V wide-angle mirrors.
The new legislation, which came into effect on 31 March 2009, covers the retrofitting of blind spot mirrors in accordance with EU Directive 2007/38/EC.

To minimise the cost of upgrading your mirrors to meet this new legislation we have introduced a free mirror check. Your local Scania dealer will be able to provide a complete fitting service for all required parts.
